Sliding Bi-Fold Door Lock (max door thickness 40mm)

I came up with a straightforward solution to a significant issue; my 15-month-old son would get into the pantry and start messing around with everything he could grab. So, I spent some time designing on Shapr3D with my iPad Pro and ended up with this - a sliding bi-fold door lock. The design is technically version two since my first one had a thinner upper design (it went from 3mm to 5mm). It's made of two pieces: an upper piece and a handle. I didn't have to glue the handle into the upper piece yet because the pegs fit pretty tightly. The supports for the holes were cleaned up a bit with an exacto knife, and a small dot of super glue would probably be enough. This lock fits doors up to 40mm thick. I used some thin, dense foam on the front edge to avoid scratching the door and smooth out the sliding motion a bit. I hope this thing works for your needs. It was sliced in CURA.
