Sliding Bevel Gauge

Sliding Bevel Gauge

I was needing a way to measure an angle for another design I am working on. This is a design for a sliding bevel gauge that is commonly used in cabinet making to measure angles. It has been scaled to fit in small spaces but still be usable with a common plastic protractor. Printer Settings Printer Brand: Printer: MakerBot Replicator 1 Rafts: No Supports: No Post-Printing The hinge is made using a piece of filament. Assemble the pieces and poke a short length of filament through the hole to form the hinge. I used some superglue to secure the filament in place. I tried using hot pliers to create a rivet, but it didn't work that well. When gluing, squeeze the arms of the outer piece together tightly so that there is enough friction to hold the arm in place when making measurements.
