Sliding Bevel Gauge 3D model
cgtrader
The grungy sliding bevel gauge comes alive in three dimensions, consisting of a sturdy stock, a hardened steel blade, and a secure locking device. Typically crafted from metal or high-quality hardwoods like rosewood or beach wood, the stock serves as the foundation for this precision tool. The blade, on the other hand, is forged from tempered steel to ensure its sharpness and durability. The exploded view showcases that threading the locking assembly isn't always necessary since it's usually hidden from sight, and this would have added extra polygons to the model. The 3D modeling data reveals stock dimensions of 12.8cm in width, 2.9cm in length, and 1.8cm in height. A unit scale of 0.010000 has been employed to create a highly detailed representation of the bevel gauge. Other file formats have also been included: OBJ for general use, 3DS-3D Studio for software-specific rendering, and FBX-Autodesk FBX for wide compatibility across various platforms. During rendering, Cycles samples reached 200, while a resolution of 2000 x 1000px has produced a high-quality image. Denoising was activated to enhance overall image quality. Colour management is achieved using the Filmic setting, which delivers a precise base contrast and natural appearance. Camera settings include a focal length of 50mm with a standard sensor size of 32mm. The model uses quads exclusively for optimal mesh performance. The subdivison levels reveal that at level 0, there are 3,852 polygons and 3,862 vertices. Level 1 produces 15,412 polygons and 15,432 vertices, while level 2 reaches a peak of 61,648 polygons and 61,692 vertices. Susurf Modifier has not been applied in this model iteration. UVs are laid out non-overlappingly for ease of use with textures. Textures include Bevel_Gauge_Colour, Bevel_Gauge_Roughness, Bevel_Gauge_Normal, Bevel_Gauge_Metalness – all 4K and 2K png. The World settings involve a strong sky texture. Lighting is enabled on layer 2, creating depth in the 3D model scene.
