Sliding barn door floor guide w/ overhang
thingiverse
Please design something gentle as a first step.\r\n\r\nA guide for sliding doors is designed to be attached to baseboard using screws. The initial model features an overhang that accommodates the way my specific baseboard/door jam fit together perfectly. Additionally, it includes a left-handed overhang for the other side of the door jam and a generic no-overhang file.\r\n\r\nThe generic and L/H versions have slightly thicker outer side walls (just an extra millimeter). The +10mm files push the door further from the baseboard to account for a door jam that extends further from the wall than the baseboard. This design is based on a guideline rather than a precise measurement.\r\n\r\nFour countersunk wood screws fit well, and they're covered with some UHMW Glide tape to minimize friction with the door surface.
