Slideways Puzzle
thingiverse
The finished cube measures 50x50x50 millimeters. It's likely that some support material will be required to ensure a successful print. One part, labeled "Slideway Puzzle reduced," features a deliberate gap of one millimeter between the sliding surfaces. This intentional design choice should facilitate smooth assembly. However, another component has zero tolerance, which may hinder its ability to fit together seamlessly unless the printer produces slightly undersized parts or you manually sand down the faces. The original designs for this project were inspired by Lee Kraznow's work on etsy.com and Pacific Puzzle Works' Instagram feed. Additionally, Ray Stanton's Slideway Cube design on pelikanpuzzles.eu served as a reference point.
