Slider
thingiverse
This is the slider for my linear slide that I designed specifically to be used with an Andymark NeveRest motor. This part was created by Tyler Evans from Hastings FTC Robotics Team (Circuit Breakerz). Print Settings Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator 2X Rafts: Yes Supports: No Resolution: 0.05 works best, but 0.1 will also work well. Infill: The higher the percentage, the stronger the part will be, although it doesn't really matter. Notes: Rotate the part so that the motor mount (the cylinder) is printed vertically (up and down). You can also use the Makerbot print file I provided with the best settings for this part and send it directly to the printer. Post-Printing Requirements In order for this to function, you will need to print the other parts of the linear slide as well. Putting the Parts Together Assembling the parts of the linear slide is straightforward since it's clear where everything goes once all the parts are printed. However, I can provide instructions upon request if needed. Instructions for This Part Before adding this part to the linear slide, you will need to drill a few holes in it for the motor to mount into. Drill them into the bottom of the cylinder wherever your motor's mounting holes will be located. How I Designed This I based the shape off of my previous slide, and the motor mount idea just came to me. I'm not sure how else to describe it.
With this file you will be able to print Slider with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Slider.
