Model is articulated. To make the slides move, drag using the L-shaped levers in the model. This is a functioning three-finger-button slide instrument in Bb. Plays like a trumpet and sounds like a soprano trombone. Lots of skills were developed to design and build. Used some parts from an old instrument and made others by hand, 3d printing, and CNC machining. It's assembled by soldering, bonding and silver brazing. Even made custom springs from music wire.
