The ends feature two adjustable metal rods over a basin or sink, upon which a glass microscope slide is placed for staining or washing purposes in biology. This slide is used for staining sectioned biological tissues and cytologic preparations. To protect the ABS plastic parts from solvent chemicals, they were coated with "Flex-seal" to rubberize them. The design was created in trueSpace and printed on an Up3D printer. For assembly, download both Horiz and virt parts, which fit together securely by gluing them in place. Flex-seal coating was applied to shield the components from solvent chemicals.
