I designed this slider to precisely fit a standard 6'' steel ruler, allowing me to get the exact length of an object with ease. Unfortunately, the inside measurement guide doesn't print well on my current setup. The ruler I purchased is the AmazonBasics 6-Inch Steel Ruler (B07YJXS7F7), which has been reliable for my needs so far.
