I had mine printed in white PETG. Keep in mind that the sun will gradually remove most of the color from your filament over time, making white probably the best option. Other filaments like Nylon, ASA, and Colorfabb XT could work well too. ABS might become brittle due to direct sunlight exposure. Depending on where you live, PLA might not be the best choice, especially when it's hot outside, and it'll also absorb water. Check your preferred filament for outdoor use capability.
