Slide Mounts

I designed and remixed some mounts. I was inspired by the phone mount in my truck, it uses these little slide mounts. I designed, re-designed, re-mixed, stole, borrowed, was inspired by, you get my point. The mounts: a stand alone mount a gopro mount 2) 35mm din rail mounts, one centered and one lowered There is a stand alone slide mount with 2 screw holes. You can mount this bracket anywhere. If you mount a box right to this bracket without using the gopro hinge, then you will need to countersink the screw holes and use flat head screws to mount the bracket. Or use 2 sided mirror tape. The gopro slide mount has both parts on a common brim for easy printing. Trim away post print. I found that the original gopro mount was a little tight so I spaced out the hinge area a little bit. So far they fit well into every gopro mount I have tried, including the store bought ones. Here is a short video: https://youtu.be/ge3tVdlT7Fg I searched for “Bolt Nut Screws for Gopro” on Ebay and bought some long thumb screws. They work great with this mount. If you don't want to use the gopro screws then an 8-32 X 3/4 works just as well. You'll need a screwdriver though. Better for an unseen, permanent mount. You can mount any of these boxes right to a din rail, or sandwich a gopro mount between them so you can aim your box up or down. I redesigned the din rail clip so it’s stronger now, and fits a 35mm din rail a little better, and it is easier to snap on and off without breaking it. There are 2 slide mount brackets that will bolt onto the din rail clip. One has a centered slide mount, the other one is slightly lower than center. This is for the larger boxes. I added 2 square holes in these mounts that line up with the square hole in the clip, so it doesn’t matter which way you install it, you will be able to slide a small screwdriver in there and pop the clip off the din rail. The boxes and lids: my original arduino boxes my compact arduino boxes my desk top meter box my 1602 LCD box my 2-8X8 LED box my 4-8X8 LED box My Arduino Boxes have a solid bottom. I redesigned the single bay box with an open bottom. I added a 0.50mm brim for bed adhesion. Trim away post print. Then I added a slide mount to the blank lid. Now you can mount my original arduino boxes with this slide mount gopro system My Compact Arduino Boxes – I added the slide mount to a blank lid. Desktop Meter Box – I chopped off the back to make it flat and added my slide mount My 1602 LCD box – This was a total re-design. I made the box as small as I could, and still house the 1602. I added a nano rail in the lid, as well as my slide mount. There are a couple of "keepers" in the nano rail to hold it in place. You have to push past them when installing the nano. My (2) 8X8 LED box and my (4) 8X8 LED box. I just added the slide mount to the bottom of the box. One slide mount on the 2 bay box, and 2 slide mounts on the 4 bay box, trying to minimize ABS warping The file list: 2 8X8 bezel---the front bezel for the 2 bay 8X8 LED matrix box 2 8X8 bwsm---the 2 bay 8X8 LED matrix box with a slide mount 4 8X8 bezel---the front bezel for the 4 bay 8X8 LED matrix box 4 8X8 bwsm---the 4 bay 8X8 LED matrix box with 2 slide mounts 1602 box---the box for the 1602 LCD 1602 sml---the lid for the 1602 box with a slide mount cabsml---the lid for compact arduino box with a slide mount dnbc---din rail bracket centered drbl---din rail bracket lowered drc---the din rail clip mabnb---my original single bay arduino box with no bottom mabsml---my arduino box slide mount lid mbsml---the lid for the meter box with a slide mount mb---the meter box smgph---slide mount gopro hinge smsab---slide mount stand alone brackets
