slide-in connectors for standard extrusions
prusaprinters

Little slides that go into the middle rail of an extrusion and serve to attach something to it.
Like, when you want to attach something to the x-gantry, a hook to hold the cable tube up, or a cam.

One has a M3 screw hole so you can fix something on it by screwing it in. The other has a vertical hole with 7,4 mm diameter which happens to hold a cylindrical endoscope camera I had with a 7,25mm diameter. It holds the cam though not very tight.

The cam points down to the extruder now which is not very exciting but it was the one angle I had not covered by the the cams at the back and on the X-axis.

FreeCAD sources are included so you can modify the things as you like and make it a part of your project if you like.

Everything is very light weight, I printed it with support (to build plate) and 3 perimeters, 15% infill. If you put something heavy on it you may want to increase that.
Category: 3D Printer Accessories
