Sliceform Sphere

Sliceform Sphere

About 25 years ago, I met John Sharp and was introduced to Sliceforms. Since then, I've created numerous paper and card sliceforms, so when I bought a 3D printer, making sliceforms seemed like a natural next step. The sphere consists of five distinct pieces that require printing the following: 2 of 1.2 sphere 0 4 of 1.2 sphere 1 4 of 1.2 sphere 2 4 of 1.2 sphere 3 4 of 1.2 sphere 4 Due to the thickness of the print, the shape doesn't compress as flat as a paper model would, but it's incredibly tactile and produces nice sounds.
