Sliceform sphere

Sliceform sphere

thingiverse

This model showcases a sphere in sliceform design. For years, I've created similar models using papersheets, but now I wanted to speed up the process. It was envisioned as plastic sheets with a 0.6 mm thickness (three layers), and an additional 0.1 mm gap around the slits was incorporated. The width of the slits is 0.8 mm. This design was created in Tinkercad by cutting a sphere with a radius of 3 cm, resulting in side faces that are spherical rather than cylindrical. To enhance visual appeal, print the uploaded STL file in two different colors. You can find this model on Tinkercad at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/5wygvlkwtEI.
