Sliceform Cone
pinshape
About 25 years ago, I met John Sharp and discovered Sliceforms. Since then, I've created numerous paper and card sliceforms, so when I bought a 3D printer, making sliceforms seemed like a great idea. To print the cone, follow these steps: print one lower cone, one upper cone, and two each of all other pieces (18 pieces in total). The printed shape doesn't flatten as much as a paper model due to its thickness, but it's incredibly tactile and makes pleasant noises.
