Slice Engineering Copperhead Upgrade for the Seemecnc Artemis or SE300 Effector
thingiverse
To upgrade your hotend on your Seemecnc Artemis or SE300 Effector with the Glorious, Amazing SLICE ENGINEERING COPPERHEAD hotend, you'll only need a few simple parts. Tired of stripping out your heater blocks? Sick of dealing with Heatbreaks, Jams, and poor heating? Upgrade to a Slice Engineering Copper Block and add a Vanadium Nozzle for long-lasting hotend performance that requires little tweaking or servicing. I'm a big fan of Slice because they're good people who make their products in America, and their products are second to none. To complete this upgrade, you'll need three parts printed in PETG or PLA or HTPLA. You can print these without taking the effector off your printer or unplugging anything. Simply unscrew all three effector screws, unhook the fan plugs from the PCB carefully, then slide each part over the fan plug with the "step" facing down and towards the center. Once you've installed all three parts, carefully plug the fans back in and loosely attach the screws. Once all the fans are plugged back in and the screws are started, tighten them up securely, making sure there are no gaps or pinched wires. Really take a close look to ensure everything is secure. This upgrade should allow you to redo the mesh leveling and clear the bed clips. Re-run the routine to set your z height and offset, and enjoy the improved performance of your upgraded hotend.
