Sleeved Cards Remix for "Dune Uprising Box Organizer" by macbrownzie
thingiverse
I remixed macbrownzie's Dune Imperium: Uprising insert so that it would hold sleeved cards. I'm using Sleeve Kings standard sleeves which are 60microns thick and I would definitely not go thicker and expect these to fit at all. The smaller cards in particular fit very snugly with these sleeves but they do still fit. I thinned this insert a bit in a few different ways, mainly as a byproduct of making room for the sleeves but I also thinned some other areas and thinned the spacer/miscellaneous token holder just to save some filament. I modified the resource/leader card tray to fit those leader cards sleeved and I also found the version of the listed player trays that already held sleeved cards so I just added similar spaces for spies like macbrownzie did to theirs. I optimized most of this for use with a standard 0.4mm nozzle at 0.2mm layer height. I also left the top and bottom layers off and used honeycomb infill wherever I saw fit to save filament. That may show up in the pictures but I didn't make any changes to the .stl's for that.WARNING: As cool as this insert is that macbrownzie put together, I want to mention that this does not support storing the game vertically as there are too many open spaces for components to bounce around inside. It also has about half a cm of lid lift as shown in the picture.. I had to find this out the hard way after printing everything.. Still, it's a very functional insert and I really appreciate the original designer for putting it out there.
