Sleeve Case for Raspberry Pi With Fan Slot
thingiverse
This is a remix of "Sleeve Case for Raspberry Pi" with an added feature - a 40x40x10mm fan slot to improve cooling. The fan can be powered directly from the raspberry pins, allowing you to direct airflow outside the case. I used a 12v fan instead of the usual 5v option because the raspberry pins only support up to 5v, resulting in lower rpm. To utilize this setup with OctoPrint, simply attach the modified case to your printer's side. I've tested it successfully on Raspberry Pi 3b+, and I'm confident it will work just as well with Raspberry Pi 3. If you're using Cura for slicing, consider adding three support features to ensure a smooth print. You can print both the case and its cap simultaneously in one go.
