Sleeve Case for Raspberry Pi B+ With Taz 5 Mount

I combined the base clip section of the spool holder with this wonderful Raspberry Pi case so it would mount on my Taz 5 to hold my OctoPi board. Changes from original case: I thinned out the top (slotted side). It was unnecessarily thick and wasted a lot of material printing it. I enlarged the SD slot. Sometimes with over extrusion, the slot was a bit tight for my liking. Added the camera cable slot. Added a channel in the top to allow the camera cable to lay flat and slide in when inserting the Pi. And the obvious, added the rail clip to the back. I undersized the outside rail fingers so it's a bit tight on the Taz frame. I don't have to use the locking clip. If you want the locking clip, you can download it from the spool holder thing. This case can be mounted facing either way, so I didn't think there would be a desire for a mirror version. Right now I have mine clipped to the right rear rail with the Pi opening facing down (the USB and ethernet cables face down). This puts it outside the frame and behind the lower stock spool holder position as delivered from Lulzbot. If you moved your spool holder, then you will have to find another place. To attach the camera cable, insert it from the outside in into the case and pull it out the opening (yes, you can do this with the short stock cable). Attach it to the Pi and fold it flat so it lies flat against the pi toward the SD card end. Slowly slide the Pi into the slot in the case. The camera cable should feed freely through the slot as you push the Pi in. Here is a timelapse of the print: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znd3i78khQw Print Settings Printer Brand: LulzBot Printer: TAZ 5 Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: .20mm Layers Infill: 30 fast honeycomb Notes: The only supports you should need are in the camera cable slot. If you don't put supports there, you could get some stringing across it and will not have a nice clean slot. Everything else shouldn't need support.
