The device is a wrist brace that prevents contortions of the wrist during sleep for people with carpal tunnel, whose nerve inflammation is exacerbated by long periods of time in a sharply bent position. The device is comfortable, and causes the wrist to rest in a neutral position, leaving the joint open and relaxed. It works by sitting in the palm of the hand, affixed using elastics, and physically preventing the bending motion.
