Sleeping Pig
thingiverse
I generated this photo-scan using Autodesk Memento, and initially, it contained about 1 million polygons or so, but after careful refinement, I reduced it down to around 40,000 without sacrificing much detail in the process. Considering that an old 5-megapixel digital camera was used for capturing, I'm thoroughly impressed with the final result. It's clear that only 57 images taken indoors under very poor lighting conditions were referenced for this project. Based on my experience, I have to say that Autodesk software is far surpassing its competitors, like 123D Catch, and I find myself preferring it significantly more these days.
