Electrical Hammer for Gravitrax with preload adjustment. This electrical hammer model is compatible with the Gravitrax marble track and allows varying the force the ball is kicked away. To drive the hammer, a G12-N20 geared mini DC Motor with e.g. 6 V and 15 rpm is needed (refer to Post Printing section). Notes: A few experiments show, that the elasticity of different PLA filaments (brand, PLA, PLA+ Silk, maybe color etc.) can vary significantly which has influence on the torque of the hammer coil spring. Especially the Silk PLA materials are much softer and weaker. Own measurements resulted in almost half of the momentum of elasicity of my copper silk PLA compared to the standard PLA. Using PETG for the hammer works also well, cause its more flexible but kicks the ball with the current spring characteristics less strong. I will add a different hammer for PETG soon. If the minimum shooting force is too strong with the normal 21.5 mm disc, try the 19.5 mm one, which preloads the spring less. If both discs are not proper, try with softer Silk PLA for the hammer.
