I downscaled the design to approximately 50%, incorporated a loop as a hanger, and printed it with zero infill percentage and a 1.7mm shell thickness (4 shells), along with a 0.01mm bottom thickness (1 layer). I then removed the bottom of the print and attached it securely to a 2xAA battery holder (available at http://www.digikey.com/short/tz5bd1) that featured an integrated switch (https://www.digikey.com/short/qcwd5b) and a 10mm white LED light source (https://amzn.com/B00KNTP936), which was hot glued in place. This setup draws about 7 milliamps, so it should function throughout the holiday season, I hope. If I were to redo this project, I would likely opt for AAA batteries instead, as the current setup is slightly too heavy for an ornament and does not pose a significant battery life concern.
