Parallels between Greek and Slavic Gods can be drawn with Dajbog and Svarog equivalent to Helios and Zeus. Some mythologists claim that a better comparison would be Apollo. Ancient written sources suggest that Dajbog is not just the God of the Sun, but also the bringer of rain. The cult of Rain, Dodole, highly worshiped and respected him. Dodole was a group of young girls who performed rituals during drought periods, dressed in white or naked with flower garlands on their heads, singing and praying for the rain to come. Dajbog was considered the God that gives, bringing rich crops, mowing, harvests, and new life. He helped families expand and mothers give birth to many healthy children. In Russia, Poland, and Bulgaria, Dajbog is primarily considered the personification of the Sun itself. Instead of worshiping natural things, Slavs gave their Gods human names and traits. Dajbog was one of the Gods that highly benefited humanity, giving life through the warmth of the Sun. Dajbog is mainly the God of rain, Sun, and fertility.\nVariations of Dajbog among Slavs\nFor Western Slavs, Dajbog is considered fire rather than the sun itself. Even though they also considered him Svarog's son, they thought he represented fire found in nature after lightning strokes and fire that kept people warm at home. In Russia and Bulgaria, Dajbog was mainly the God of the Sun, while some cultures worshiped him as a life giver, equivalent to the Sun giving life to every creature on Earth. Later, due to Christianity's mainstreaming, Dajbog becomes a synonym for the Devil, with Christians transforming his name from Dajbog to Dabo, removing paganism as the main competition.\nEtymology of Dajbog's Name\nThe name Dajbog was mainly used in Serbia to address the God of the Sun. It consists of two words: Daj– extracted from the verb Dati meaning Give, and Bog meaning God. Literally translated, it would mean The God who Gives or The Giving God. Except for Dajbog, the God of the Sun is also called Dažbog where dažd means rain. Variations in his name are present, but meaning and cult represented are somewhat similar for all Slavs. Dajbog represents one of the most worshiped Slavic Gods.\nPrint Settings\nPrinter Brand: \n RepRap\n \n Printer: \n kossel delta mini\n \n Rafts: \n No\n \n Supports: \n No\n \n Resolution: \n .2\n \n Infill: \n 20%\n \n Notes: \n 3walls, 2 bottom and top layers\nprint at 50% size
