Slave 1
thingiverse
I came across another Slave 1 design on Thingiverse, but I opted for a simpler model that's easier to print. Using low-poly modeling in 3ds Max, I created my own version with limited detail. The result is a relatively straightforward printing process, although it does require some post-printing effort. To achieve a polished look, you'll need to sand and clean up the parts - a fun task that adds a personal touch. Instructions: 1. Print the main body using supports for stability. 2. Separate the fins and guns from the main body (refer to the image). 3. Sand all components thoroughly, taking care to use acetone if you're working with ABS plastic. 4. Attach the fins and guns to the main body securely. 5. Optionally, print the bottom section with engine detail, then glue it to the base of the main body. I'd appreciate your feedback on this design - please let me know what you think! If you decide to print one, feel free to share a photo or post about your experience. Thanks for considering my project!
