I had to install a fluorescent fixture in my workspace - it connects directly to an outlet, so I decided to hang it straight on my slat wall. These brackets fit into the slat wall, they are reinforced with gussets to support weight, and a stop tab prevents them from sliding off. The bulbs remain at least two inches away from the bracket.
