I had a functional soap holder that was made of wood, which I had at home. I considered making a version with a 3D printer for fun and as an alternative use once finished. This design boasts a smooth indentation in the middle where the soap resides, allowing water to quickly drain through multiple openings and empty into the sink. To make this design usable, simply print it out and smooth out its surface using a finishing material such as Smooth-On XTC. The measurements of this design are approximately 4 inches by 3 inches by 1 inch. It can be enlarged or minimized fairly reliably to suit specific needs.
