Slat Link Conveyor
thingiverse
This is an advanced iteration of my preceding conveyor system. - The incorporation of bearings on every shaft has enhanced its overall performance. - 200mm sections are now available to accommodate more printers and applications. - A drive mounting mechanism has been added for seamless integration with NEMA17 stepper motors. This is a high-capacity, 50mm wide slat chain conveyor designed for industrial use. Similar to those employed in numerous production lines, it serves as an integral part of my project to develop a comprehensive model bottle filling/corking/labelling/packing line system. Each segment of the conveyor requires precisely 16 slat links. The conveyor sections are constructed at a length of 200mm, making them suitable for most printers and applications. To increase its overall length, users can easily add multiple mid-sections. A simple support leg is included to provide additional stability; however, the conveyor can also be placed directly on any flat surface. Non-printed components include: Standard servo screws - one per section (two for the drive section) 608 Bearings - four units (I recommend using 608ZZ or 608-2RS bearings to minimize dust accumulation) M5x12 Cap Screws and nuts - four units per conveyor section For sourcing parts in the UK, I highly recommend modelfixings.co.uk and simplybearings.co.uk; both websites provide excellent products and services (no affiliation, merely a recommendation).
