Slat Bracket
thingiverse
This is a slat bracket, designed to hold wooden slats securely for beds, couches, and similar furniture pieces. The original bracket on the right is an unappealing grey color, while my 3D printed version on the left boasts a sleek black finish. My girlfriend's Ikea couch/bed combo was missing one crucial piece - this very same bracket. Out of eighty-plus brackets, only one was MIA, and it led to a rather embarrassing incident where I inadvertently put my knee through the furniture. **Print Settings** * Printer Brand: Ultimaker * Printer Model: Ultimaker 2 * Rafts: No rafts were used during printing. * Supports: None were employed for this print. * Resolution: A resolution of 200 microns was set. * Infill Percentage: The infill level was set to 20% with a rectilinear pattern. **Design and Printing Notes** I printed this bracket without supports as an experiment on the Ultimaker 2+. However, you may want to consider adding support structures to the hollow area or printing it in a different orientation.
