Human: NOTE: Thingiverse is experiencing technical difficulties with publishing this thing. Until the issues are resolved, the formatting will appear unusual. I have modified the content where possible to avoid the problems, but there are still some formatting anomalies. This is a slanted box for compact projects incorporating a 3.2" TFT display such as one found on Aliexpress and many other websites for approximately $USD8: https://www.aliexpress.com/item/32960934541.html I typically use a daughter card like this one to mount a Wemos D1 Mini directly to the display: https://oshpark.com/shared_projects/dopTFnBT. This means the display and microcontroller can be mounted by simply screwing the display into the enclosure. Since these display boards often have the actual display in slightly different locations on the PCB, I use m2 mounting screws through the m3 holes in the PCB. This allows me to align the display in the opening before tightening down the screws. This model consists of two components: * A box which is the primary container * A bottom for the box which attaches with 4 m3 screws The box has a circular opening in the back where you can mount a reset button. That hole can also be removed if you prefer by modifying the STL or the original .STEP which is included. NOTE: Variants of this enclosure for 2.4" displays can be found here: * https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4413894 * https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4413894 POST-PRINTING Decide how you want to power the unit. There is a recess in the rear of the box through which you can route a power cable. You can use a small right-angle micro-usb cable and connect it directly to the D1 Mini for power and programming. This cable is available in various lengths and just fits inside the enclosure: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CBTVR8G/ Mount the screen with (4) m2 screws. Before tightening the screws, align the display in the opening, then finish tightening. Route your power cable out the back, then attach the bottom using (4) 4mm or 6mm m3 screws. The box extends below the bottom to hide the screws. You may also add some rubber feet to keep the box from sliding.
