This is a plaster replica of a slab taken from the west frieze of the Parthenon. The reproduction was crafted at The British Museum, where it was kept after being pilfered from The Parthenon, situated atop The Acropolis in Athens. The cast was produced during the latter half of the 19th Century, the authentic creations date back to between 443-438 BC.
