This desk support secures the IKEA SKÅDIS pegboard firmly against the back of the desk and tilts it gently towards the wall behind. To complete this setup, six M3x20mm screws are required for each side to attach the pegboard to its base. These screws pass through the pegboard base, then the pegboard itself, before finally threading into the inserts on the rear pieces, securing them firmly in place. The base can be attached to the desk using up to six countersunk screws with a hole diameter of about 3.9mm. To add threads to the back pieces, M3 threaded inserts designed for holes of 4-4.1mm in diameter are necessary. These inserts can be easily inserted using a soldering iron.
