Skådis drawer system
thingiverse
This is a set of drawers that can be hung from IKEA Skådis. It's designed so no supports are needed when printing. The full set of STLs are in the ZIP. One drawer, front and suspension are uploaded separately for the sake of the Thingiverse preview. - Drawers come in these depths: 60mm, 100mm, 140mm - Drawers come in these widths: 40mm, 80mm, 120mm, 160mm, 200mm - Drawers come in these heights: 75mm, 115mm, 155mm, 195mm - The front is printed separately and is optional. - The suspension for the drawers are printed in three parts: "hook", "shelf" and "lock". The suspension lock is used to fix the hook and shelf together. By printing the suspension in three parts, the suspension gets extra strength since the layers for the hook are printed vertically while the layers for the shelf are printed horizontally. I haven't tested the strength of the suspension or the drawers though so use these drawers at your own risk. There are three types of front: opaque thin and thin with grids. The thin can be used if you have some "transparent" PLA and want to try to get some transparency in the front. The thin model is 0.15mm thick when it is this thin it gets pretty fragile/flimsy so the "thin with grid" can be used for some extra support. If you don't need transparency use the opaque one which is 2mm thick. You could also use whatever material you want for a front/window by simply cutting a rectangle of the correct size. The IKEA Skådis pegboard has 40mm between each hole both in vertical and horizontal directions. Widths and heights for the drawers are specified in terms of the distance between the holes they will hang from. The depth is a parameter I used when designing the drawers. The inside of the drawer will have a depth of 5mm less than what I give as the "depth" and the full outer depth of the object is about 25mm more than what I give as the "depth". When printing the depth should be along the Z-axis. I have not tried printing all models. They were generated using the Fusion360ParaParam plugin for Fusion 360: https://github.com/hanskellner/Fusion360ParaParam
