DEC opens its shield to safeguard its sensor, retreating to clear the clutch lever. Engineered from four distinct components, it assembles effortlessly. The upper sections bond seamlessly with their counterparts on the lower halves before snapping into position. Securely fitted, yet never making contact with the DEC axis, this shield demonstrates precise design. With a few careful drops of Superglue, I joined its parts together and reinforced them further using an adhesive tape to ensure it stays firmly in place.
