I've designed a custom tripod pier specifically for Skywatcher EQ8 or Atlas HDX110 telescope mounts, addressing a common issue with pest control. The base of the pier features an open steel tube that allows small critters to crawl in when it's left outdoors overnight. To resolve this problem, I created a plug to seal off the bottom of the pier completely.
