Skywatcher EQ2 RA motor drive ( direct clock )
thingiverse
I got a Skywatcher 90/910 and I would like to watch the Mars and other planets. You need a clock drive for RA axis that will compensate for the Earth spinning. I created and made a solution for me (and for you). Parts: - 3D printed parts (3+1) - NEMA 17 (48mm) motor - 3D printer Belt Closed Loop Rubber GT2 Timing Belt 2GT-6 300..320mm (or create one from an open timing belt like me) - A4988 Stepper drive module (https://www.hestore.hu/prod_10035835.html) - Digispark (Arduino compatible microcontroller) (https://www.hestore.hu/prod_10036419.html) - JOYSTICK (Phillips two-way rocker 10K resistor + pushbutton) (https://www.hestore.hu/prod_10035502.html) - Power (12V) (in my case RC LIPO battery 2800mA 11.7 (3cells)) with XT60 connector - ... and be familiar in soldering and electronic circuits I built the electronic circuit in air (no extra components). I used a breakout board for A4988 drive module: https://www.banggood.com/A4988-or-DRV8825-Stepper-Motor-Control-Board-Expansion-Board-For-3D-Printer-p-1238774.html?utm_source=googleshopping&utm_medium=cpc_organic&gmcCountry=HU&utm_content=minha&utm_campaign=minha-hu-en-pc¤cy=HUF&cur_warehouse=CN&createTmp=1&utm_source=googleshopping&utm_medium=cpc_bgs&utm_content=sxxx&utm_campaign=sxxx-ssc-hu-all-1101-2quad-11sale&ad_id=476272142075&gclid=Cj0KCQiA1pyCBhCtARIsAHaY_5ewK_6rjzBLTyDm3APIqTpEg_c9fgXpjJBWGBC-bwPA4RS1EtwwvjYaAh8tEALw_wcB Documentation / Circuit / Arduino Software : https://docs.google.com/document/d/e/2PACX-1vST7t-DuNkURGHo1sltaCylGX4RHi1CWPgRkCKIR61de2V6n981pT8QCqai8cTZpQSnZ4gvwEN5O7AK/pub
