This is a 3D printable adapter I designed to convert the SkyWatcher 9x50 Finderscope into a versatile Guide scope. You can attach numerous common guide cameras featuring a female M42x0.75 thread, such as the original QHY5 and medium-sized ZWO Planetary/Guiding cameras, among others. The adaptor is printed in three distinct parts: A, B, and C. To assemble it, fit Part C into Part B, ensuring a snug but still rotating fit when some force is applied. Next, carefully run glue around the shoulder of Part C; I personally used Superglue. Then, snap Part A onto Part B, where it will securely retain Part C while allowing it to rotate freely. This allows you to rotate your camera to any desired position even if the Guidescope is locked in place. I printed my own using a 0.15mm layer height, four walls, three top and bottom layers, and 100% concentric infill (or whatever settings you prefer). It's highly recommended that you use a minimum layer height of at least 0.15mm or finer to achieve well-printed threads.
