The rear compartment of the Skywalker X6 boasts two distinct ridges where this platform can be securely attached via glue or velcro, providing an additional layer for electronics integration. Mounting this versatile plate is only feasible during a new build where the fuselage remains unfixed; however, on existing builds, users can still install it by carefully cutting off sections from both the front and rear edges of the plate. To simplify component removal, the latest design iteration features a removable version that allows for easy detachment by simply removing the central section of the plate, leaving the frame intact within the plane. This strategic approach prevents damage to the surrounding foam when uninstalling the plate. For optimal installation, attaching the platform to the frame involves applying a few strategically placed drops of hot glue to the plate's corners once it is securely in place within the frame.
