A Glass Weapon from Skyrim, an action role-playing video game developed by Bethesda Game Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks. The game takes place in the land of Skyrim, a province on the continent of Tamriel, amidst a civil war between two factions: the Empire and the Stormcloaks. The story begins with the player being led to an Imperial execution in Helgen, alongside several Stormcloak soldiers and their leader, Ulfric Stormcloak. A dragon suddenly interrupts the procession, attacking and destroying the town. The player helps slay the dragon with assistance from the town's guards, but during the battle, they unexpectedly absorb the dragon's soul, gaining the magical ability to perform a "Thu'um", or Shout. The city's guards are stunned, realizing that the player must be a Dragonborn: a mortal born with the soul and power of a dragon.
