Skyrim Dragon Skull Sliced for Minimal/No Support Printing (Easy Print)
thingiverse
I despise supports and thought it might be beneficial for others who also detest supports or possess smaller printers and wish to print this enormous structure!\r\n\r\nI printed each component at 250% scale on my SeeMeCNC Artemis using leftover spools of PLA. I secured them together with a preferred adhesive (two-part epoxy is my preference due to the setup time) before completing the project as desired.\r\n\r\nI employed minimal easy/small supports, but it's also possible that they were unnecessary.\r\n\r\nThe tip of the nose is not a separate component; instead, I exhausted the orange filament and fed in natural PLA when the orange ran out.\r\n\r\nUPDATE: I should have oriented the STLs with flat sides facing downwards for easier printing, but I forgot to do so. You'll need to adjust this setting in your slicer before slicing.\r\n\r\nUPDATE 2: Users experienced difficulties rotating the models to ensure they sat flat on their print beds. I uploaded revised files that are correctly oriented and ready for printing!
