This is the Skylab fairing designed for the Modular Snap-Fit Saturn V by RealAbsurdity. Full credit of the awesome Saturn V modular rocket goes to RealAbsurdity at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:45316. Two versions are available, one a hollow shell and the other a solid one with only the snap-fit connector section hollow. If you intend to print this at standard size, depending on your slicer and nozzle diameter, it might not print well due to thin walls. Therefore, it would be best to print the solid version. If you print it in a larger scale, such as my 2x model, you should have no problems printing it. Some background information: In 1965, the Apollo Applications Program was created to explore science missions that could be performed using Apollo hardware. Much of the planning centered on the idea of a space station. Wernher von Braun's earlier plans employed a "wet workshop" concept, with a spent S-II Saturn V second stage launched into orbit and outfitted in space. The next year AAP studied a smaller station using an S-IVB Saturn 1B second stage. By 1969, Apollo funding cuts eliminated the possibility of procuring more Apollo hardware, forcing the cancellation of some later Moon landing flights. This freed up at least one Saturn V, allowing the wet workshop to be replaced with the "dry workshop" concept: the station (now known as Skylab) would be built on the ground from a surplus Saturn IB second stage and launched on the first two live stages of a Saturn V. Three crews lived aboard Skylab from May 25, 1973 to February 8, 1974, with Skylab remaining in orbit until July 11, 1979. Source: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Saturn_V#Skylab
