Skyhunter 1800 Motormount for the wings - twin tractor

2020/08/17 Update:\r\n\r\nAdded several versions featuring different up- or down tilt of the motor mount surface, as well as one with an ESC bay underneath the wing.\r\n\r\nThis is a motor mount designed for the wing of the big Skyhunter 1800. \r\n\r\nI created this design because I am unsure if I will stick with my VTOL setup or convert it back to a twin-motor wing mount version without VTOL capabilities.\r\n\r\nAs yet, I have not tested it, but feel free to provide feedback if you decide to try it out.\r\n\r\nThe motor mount is designed to accommodate the motorcross of a SunnySky 2814 motor with a hole pattern of 44 mm. \r\nAny motor with a cross pattern of 44 mm will fit, including most motors in the size range of a 28xx.\r\n\r\nTo assemble this motor mount, you will need the following components:\r\n\r\n- 2 M3x20mm cylinder head allen key screws (DIN 912)\r\n- 2 M3 locknuts\r\n- 1 M4x40mm cylinder head allen key screw (DIN 912)\r\n- 1 M4 locknut\r\n\r\nYou will need to drill a hole just behind the main spar in the wing to secure the pod with the M4 screw. I am unsure if glue alone will be enough to hold it in place.\r\n\r\nI would love to receive feedback on this design.
