Skyhunter 1.8M Main Gear
thingiverse
This is a work in progress main gear set for the RMRC 1.8M Skyhunter. 1/1/2020 Update - Main gear holes are now large enough to accommodate M3 hardware, and larger holes have been created for Dubro stub axles. 1/8/2020 Update - V2 STL has been added, with lower bracing extended further down the gear to improve stiffness. Cross brace holes have also been enlarged 1mm to clear M3 hardware heads. Gear and axle position were adjusted by 5mm. 1/12/2020 Update - V3 STL is now available, which modifies the V2 model by enlarging axle stub holes for Dubro 247 stub axles. These require a 3/8" hole, but prints sometimes split on layer lines when drilled larger. A new version, V4, will be released once an 8mm hole is verified. 1/12/2020 Late Update - V4 STL has been added, with an 8mm hole that fits perfectly for Dubro 247 Stub axles. This may be the final version of this design unless other issues arise. For the nose gear, a skid or another STL found on the Finwing page can be used: https://finwinghobby.com/goods.php?id=143
