Skyfire Action Master Style-Larger
thingiverse
This Ultimate Edition style Skyfire is designed to meet IsaacmusPrime's requirements for a Jetfire toy, which surpasses standard Action Master sizes. To print this model successfully, I recommend printing the head on its back with supports, the arms on their sides with post parts sticking up and supports, the backpack standing upright on its jets with supports - not as I initially did, resulting in an unsightly appearance - the upper legs with the smaller hole facing down and supports, the rear jets on their sides with supports, and essentially everything should have supports. The body and back should snap together once completed, which was a deliberate design choice to accommodate the jetpack post fitting into the entire body. Leg accessories should be printed with the slot hole facing down, then superglue them onto the legs. Two small screws are required to attach the upper legs to the waist - those used in PCs will suffice. I only printed two guns because I needed identical objects of the same height for the barrels to emerge correctly; feel free to print something else that's as tall if you prefer, such as a sacrificial block. Printer Settings: Printer: CTC Rafts: No Supports: Yes Resolution: 0.2-0.3 Infill: 20% Notes: I printed the white parts at 0.3 mm layer height and all other parts at 0.2 mm.
