Skyeel - Disc golf driver
thingiverse
Stable disc golf driver easy to throw by beginners. Skyeel 2 is an update with smoother bottom edge, for a cleaner release. This makes it a bit more understable also. 'Download all' want include Skyeel 2 for some reason. Click 'Thing Files' below picture to download it. Rough estimate of flight numbers (thrown at speed 9 to 90m / 300ft): Skyeel 2 - Speed 9, Glide 5, Turn -1, Fade 1 Skyeel - Speed 9, Glide 5, Turn 0, Fade 2 TPU 100% infill with PLA inner ring, 160g PLA 75% infill, 162g Preferably printed in flex/TPU plastic to not make it dangerously hard. Shore Hardness 95A or a little harder will do. Can be printed in two parts, outer rim and inner ring. Solid TPU disc might feel too flimsy. A TPU outer rim and a PLA inner ring will make it more sturdy (glue the ring on). Adjust inner ring hight (z scale) to make it more overstable or understable. Higher ring makes it more overstable and lower ring makes it more understable. A reminder if you using Cura, set "Build Plate Adhesion" to "None" to make the disc fitt in the printer (Ender 3 at least)
