Introduction The Skydome HDRI collection showcases high-dynamic range images that capture only the sky portion of an outdoor setting. Typically, these images feature detailed and cloudy skies. The lighting conditions are natural exterior lighting, with no artificial sources, and encompass all aspects of natural illumination. Description Highly detailed day clouds are captured for use in image-based lighting. Since only the top half of the HDRI sphere is shot, when using VrayLight with Dome-enabled, leave "Spherical: full-dome" unchecked. The treeline is retained to ensure better horizon alignment. Product Includes Main Files Seven 2-EV, OpenEXR, and Radiance image files are included, each featuring a massive resolution of 12048x3152. The original horizon has been removed, and the HDR has been reprocessed for ghosting removal. Backplates A series of backplates is provided in two sets: corrected images to address horizontal alignment and distortion caused by an 8mm lens, as well as uncorrected pictures. A full-resolution panorama image is also included. Other Information Camera The Canon EOS 60D with Magic Lantern was used for the camera setup. Lens A Samyang f3.5/8mm fisheye lens was employed, which boasts a horizontal field of view measuring 180 degrees. Usage HDR images are utilized in various 3D formats to produce physically accurate lighting. This lighting is recreated based on the scene shot from the panorama image, and it serves multiple purposes.
