Introduction The Skydome HDRI-collection is a set of high-dynamic range images that captures only the sky-portion of an outdoor setting. Typically, the qualities selected under this brand are cloudy and detailed skies. The lighting-condition in these images is natural exterior lighting, with no artificial sources, and they capture all aspects of natural lighting. Description High-detail day clouds captured for image-based lighting are featured in this collection. Only the top half of the HDRI-sphere is shot, so if using VrayLight with Dome-setting enabled, leave "Spherical: full-dome" unchecked. A treeline is retained for better horizon alignment. Product Includes Main Files 7-step 2-EV, OpenEXR and Radiance image files with a massive resolution of 12679×2869 are included. The original horizon has been removed, and HDR has been reprocessed to remove ghosting. Backplates A series of backplates is provided, featuring two sets: corrected pictures that address horizontal alignment and distortion caused by an 8mm lens, as well as uncorrected images. A full-resolution panorama-image is also included. Other Information Camera A Canon EOS 60D with Magic Lantern was used to capture these images. Lens The Samyang f3.5/8mm fisheye lens was used, offering a horizontal field of view of 180 degrees.
