Sky-Watcher EQ6-R Pro Rear Altitude Adjustment Bolt Cap
thingiverse
The rear elevation adjustment bolt on the Sky-Watcher EQ6R-Pro mount has a spring loaded handle that can be difficult to use for fine adjustments while doing the polar-alignment (PA). It tends to slip and not grab all the time. While doing some maintenance on the mount, I decided to replace that handle with a small 12mm ratcheting wrench (link to wrench I used on Amazon: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B08VS8BRB6). I designed this cap to slip over the 12mm end of the adjustment bolt. It has a hole in the center for a M5 screw that will tighten it down using the preexisting threads in the bolt.
