Sky Surfer / Cloud Surfer fuselage floor
thingiverse
The plywood floor of my Sonic Model Sky Surfer came apart at the seams and gave out on me. Luckily, I found a replacement that's working like a charm. It fits snugly on top of the foam ledge inside the fuse, giving it a bit more clearance than the original floor. To keep it in place, I'm using Velcro, which makes it easy to remove whenever I need to. The two slots are designed specifically for securing a battery strap, but I'm not sure if it would work on other models with similar designs, like the Cloud Surfer or Eye Sky. If you've had success with this replacement on another model, please let me know so others can benefit from your experience. I've also included the source Sketchup file in case someone wants to modify it for their own use. If you do decide to print out this object, be sure to let me know how it turns out!
