In a world where vast Sky Islands soar through the skies, their inhabitants continually face formidable challenges from the unforgiving environment. When the enigmatic Ancient Sky Travellers began to unite into expansive migratory groups, they eventually coalesced to form the Great Colonies - sprawling settlements that thrived amidst the islands. However, the formation of these massive colonies necessitated equally vast resources, prompting a common lifestyle among the island dwellers: farming and mining on the Sky Islands. These skilled individuals would trade their wares with the larger settlements, sustaining themselves through this dynamic exchange. A significant portion of this work takes place aboard skyships, where travelers embark on perilous voyages to scavenge smaller islands for precious resources. Yet, as the years passed, a subset of these adventurers yearned for a more stable existence, free from the dangers of the open skies. In response, they pioneered a new approach: colonizing smaller islands and equipping them with engines, allowing these mobile oases to traverse the sky while their inhabitants remained firmly rooted in their newfound homes. This innovative solution granted settlers the flexibility to maintain their vital work while enjoying the comforts of a stable residence - a testament to human ingenuity in the face of adversity.
